JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Enterprise Architect reports to the SVP of IT and works closely with the EVP of Product, Director of Client Data Strategy, the Director of Data Engineering, Data Operations, and Data Reporting teams to develop a data architecture that supports organizational and client requirements. This includes documenting the end-to-end flow processing and flow of client data for our current state and future state. This leader will also have the responsibility of evaluating and recommending technical solutions to achieve future state and to achieve our overall business objectives.

A detailed explanation of each responsibility is as follows:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Documenting current the end-to-end flow of client data from client intake, through campaign execution, to capture of campaign results.
  • Design future state data flow and model to cleanse and normalize client data for processing.
  • Assist in establishing Data Governance through identification of all client data sources, formats, storage, and usage.
  • Lead the design of Enterprise Data Model to support client data processing.
  • Develop process for evaluating and selecting modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and translate them into designs and solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on strategic technologies and initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Proven working experience establishing data architecture following a formal framework.
  • Understanding of Data Governance strategies and principles.
  • Strong data modeling and database design skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong consulting skills to understand stakeholder needs and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on detail.

EDUCATION, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • 5-7 years’ experience working as data architect following formal methodology
  • Experience establishing and documenting data architecture for one or more clients.
  • Prior Data Governance experience a plus.
