We are seeking a Process Technician for the manufacturing engineering department at our Salisbury, North Carolina Plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains and troubleshoots molding / coating operations
- Set up process to specified parameter specs.
- Verify set up after die change by staying on site for the first 5 parts produced.
- Conduct daily inspections on the line for verification of processes running to specification.
- Troubleshoot any molding or coating problems.
- Works with quality on any issues that arise because of molding or coating.
- May handle Hazardous waste.
- Perfomr routine cleaning of equipment, general housekeeping and maintain clean work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to read and write sufficiently to fully understand safety policies, work instructions, and chemical warning labels.
- Good math skills and mechanical ability.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Products as well as AutoCAD.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Must be able to be Forklift certified.
