We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Carey, Ohio Plant.
Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will implement new processes and equipment as well as provide technical support to sustain and/or enhance production operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Devise and implement new processes and equipment.
- Provide technical assistance to support current production processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults or failures and implement corrective actions.
- Formulate, oversee, and implement continuous improvement and scrap reduction projects.
- Interface directly with supporting departments and collaborate to improve manufacturing processes.
- Document approved changes and improvements per IATF procedures.
- Work as part of a team to achieve annual and quarterly goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum Two years of experience working with Fanuc robotics.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and PLC equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting approximately 50lbs.
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments and maneuver through narrow spaces.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
