What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Tejas Specialty Group, Inc?
We are in search for a Truck Driver/laborer, our ideal candidate would be local to the Harris County, Texas area.
Responsibilities/ Requirements:
- Class D driver license
- 21 years old as the minimum-age.
- Drive and work with crew when on job site. ( Waterproofing crew, Gyp Crew and Concrete crew)
- Route is generally local; however, the candidate may be routed out of town occasionally up to a few nights. (paid by employer with a spending allowance for food for that day/night).
- NO experience necessary in the scope of work that we do.
- Benefits available once probation/ training phase ends.
- Room for increase of pay and growth within company.
Drivers are considered not acceptable if they have the following within the past 36 months…
- 1 or more major violation
- 2 or more accidents (regardless of fault)
- 3 or more minor violations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
