Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimator for a project site in Washington D.C. This role is crucial to the planning and execution of our construction projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Develop valid cost estimates using appropriate metrics.
  • Visit sites, warehouses, and other venues to gather essential information.
  • Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data.
  • Analyze data and produce cost forecasts.
  • Perform risk analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties.
  • Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects, etc.).

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of college education.
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or Business.
  • Experience in construction project scheduling and cost estimating.
  • Experience working with cost estimating software (e.g., RS Means, Cost Plus, etc.).

Requirements

Minimum of two years of college education. Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or Business. Experience in construction project scheduling and cost estimating.

Experience working with cost estimating software (e.g., RS Means, Cost Plus, etc.). Access to Adobe Reader and MS Suite.
