Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Location: Bentonville, AR (Distribution Center - New Construction)
Start Date: Monday, June 17th
Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Duration: 3-4 Months (Temp to Possible Hire)
Pay Range: $20-$26 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking three well-rounded and strong Data/Low Voltage Technicians to join our team for a new construction project at a distribution center in Bentonville, AR. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, test, and label low voltage cables (Cat5, Cat6, fiber optics) in a commercial environment.
- Set up and maintain structured cabling systems, ensuring all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Implement effective cable management solutions, such as J-hooks and ladder racks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide installations.
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on existing cabling systems.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all safety protocols and use provided PPE.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data/Low Voltage Technician.
- Proficiency in running, terminating, testing, and labeling low voltage cables.
- Strong understanding of cable management solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the specified shift hours.
- Must bring all necessary hand tools and PPE.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in low voltage or structured cabling is a plus.
- Experience in new construction projects is highly desirable.
