Responsibilities
- Be the main point person of the project (1 - 2 years effort).
- Hands-on performance tuning experience, improving performance for SQL code and stored procedures.
- Review stored procedures and functions.
- Database technical debt.
- Always encrypted concept and limitations.
- Merge pull requests and/or commits between development, acceptance, pre-prod, and production.
- Work with developers and DBAs if there are merge conflicts.
- Deployment of scripts created by the build process.
- Review the deployment scripts to verify what was created.
- Deploy to specific environment(s) when scheduled.
- Tools: SSMS, Git, Visual Studio & Visual Studio Code.
- Familiar with Agile development.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to take ownership of all tasks once knowledge transfer is complete.
- Able to manage multiple lists of objects and the environment those object have been moved to and/or will move to next.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
