Job Description
Splunk Consultant/ Splunk Engineer (Developer- 10 years)
Location: Saint Louis, MO - Day 1 Onsite
Duration: Long term
Required Skills:
Experience developing Web service/APIs.
Have hands-on experience in Java service environments.
Have experience on deployment/release planning.
Have experience on Linux VM.
Have experience on Log monitoring, troubleshooting.
Have very good experience on Splunk (required), AppDynamics (required), Datadog (nice to have).
Have experience in Incident management.
Good to have Kubernetes/Camunda knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Applies current analytical and logical thinking to the design, architecture, development, evaluation, testing, and integration of computer systems, appliances, and networks involving the architecture and implementation of the Splunk product.
Paying attention to detail, honesty, out of the box thinking with a problem-solving mindset, be able to work under pressure, and be able to deliver on tight delivery schedules are recommended soft skills.
Display superb understanding and be knowledgeable with a multitude of technologies to include; firewalls, web application firewalls, VPNs, DNS, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, and proxies, to name a few.
Develop security systems for any manual or automated systems environments.
Ensure the logging of mission and organizational data against unauthorized disclosure, accidental or intentional loss of data, or unauthorized modification.
The successful Application Analyst (Splunk) will be comfortable working with a variety of different tools and appliances, security problems, and troubleshooting various complex issues.
