Job Title : Desktop Support Consultant (Onsite role)
Location : Hillsboro, OR 97124
Duration : 6 - 12 Months
Job Details:
· Provide the 8x5 support for PCs and servers hosted at the Oregon site campuses
· Troubleshoot client computing issues related to PCs and their peripherals such as mouse, keyboards, KVM switches, scanners
· Configure, deploy, set up, and repair Operating Systems, Client Networking, PCs and mouse, keyboards, KVM switches, scanners, laser/label printers and other PC peripherals .The configuration tasks include but are not limited to IP address configuration, domain joining, drive mapping…
· Perform virus scan at location and send back report
· Hardware movement between buildings/locations for deployment, repair, and dismantling
· Audit hardware status as needed
· Knowledge of basic PC hardware, KVM, printer, scanner, networking, IP is essential
· Knowledge of DNS, Active Directory is a strong plus
· Use IT ticketing system to log and track the work
· Coordination with end user to resolve the issue
· Server Install support
· Mount servers into the rack in Datacenter
· Connect network cable
· Set up iLO based on document provided
· Basic troubleshooting
· Patching of servers and clients
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
