Plant Manager

About the Job:

We're seeking a Plant Manager for our Renewable Natural Gas(RNG) facility, Your role will involve overseeing plant operations to ensure safety, environmental compliance, and profitability. You'll provide leadership and management for day-to-day plant activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set goals and objectives for plant operations, supported by data and budgets.
• Provide annual goals to team members.
• Establish procedures for efficient plant performance.
• Review and approve operating and capital budgets.
• Identify and justify improvement projects.
• Monitor expenses and adjust as needed to stay within budget.
• Present annual budget to stakeholders.
• Identify and address training needs for team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response programs.
• Maintain effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• Supervise and support plant operators, technicians, and mechanics.
• Provide regular operational reports.
• Review plant performance and recommend adjustments to plans and procedures.
• Manage insurance surveys and inspections.
• Contribute to the development of new projects.
• Provide input on operational costs and plant design.
• Collaborate with other departments for effective operations.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Participate in meetings and calls to share operational information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in the management, operation, and maintenance of anerobic digesters facilities is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or appropriate facility management experience.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
• Participative management type, advocate of team concept.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities.
• Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $190,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
