Assembler

Job Details:

• (Assembly Positions) Depending on what line the associate is on they could be stretching the material over the foam and snapping it into place followed by steaming the material to get out wrinkles, they would also be threading wiring harnesses to the seats and using automatic hand tools (air wrenches, etc) or assembling the plastic side pieces and snapping them onto the console portions typically seen in GMC Trucks/SUV’s
• Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach or twist.
• Ability to stand and/or walk long periods of time.
• Inspect product quality.
• Cleaning surrounding work areas.
• May be assigned different duties depending on plant needs.

INSERTS

• Places proper inserts (wires, felts, & Velcro) into molds.
• Informs supervisor of insert shortages; assists in recovering dropped or misplaced inserts
• Reaching overhead and bending this is 100% of the time.

DEMOLD/CLEANING

• Removes molded foam seat pads from molds.
• Places part on conveyer for next stage of finishing process.
• Cleans any foam particles and/or wax build-up from the molds.
• Informs supervisor and line technician of process problems underfills, wax burns, etc.
• Cleans foam particles and/or wax build-up from molds
• Applies spray wax to the mold surfaces
• Notifies supervisor and line technician of process problems
• Reaching overhead and bending this is 100% of the time.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
