As a Data Analyst, you will leverage advanced tools and technologies, including MS SQL Management Studio, Power BI, and other commercial and proprietary systems, to perform in-depth data analysis, create sophisticated reports and dashboards, and drive business objectives through data-driven insights. Your primary responsibilities will include financial reporting, advanced Power BI dashboard creation, and comprehensive data analysis. Essential Functions:
Acquire, clean, and organize large, complex datasets from various sources to ensure they are ready for analysis.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough validation and cleansing processes, implementing best practices in data management.
Conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into data-driven solutions that support decision-making.
Perform advanced statistical analysis and develop predictive models to support strategic decision-making processes.
Create clear, concise, and impactful visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present information in a compelling and easily understandable manner.
Generate and automate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate business performance, ensuring timely delivery of insights.
Develop and automate reporting processes to streamline data delivery and enhance efficiency.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on data outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
Identify, investigate, and address data inconsistencies and discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Work closely with other team members and departments to elicit requirements, understand data needs, and provide comprehensive analytical support.
Participate actively in team meetings, offering insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team's growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
4-5 years of proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex challenges.
Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
Advanced knowledge and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
