The largest e-commerce company in the world is searching for a Field Marketing Manager to join their team. This role is
hybrid in Chicago, IL 2-3x per week and is a 6 month contract to start with opportunity for extension/conversion.
Job Description:We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to lead field marketing and events to acquire and engage new customers for our stores. This person will manage the full lifecycle of the field marketing program, create new programs to drive trial, and optimize and measure campaigns. This role requires an independent self-starter who is passionate about building and scaling programs and who can thrive in ambiguity.
Job Responsibilities: - Defining and executing a scalable field marketing program with clear objectives, priorities, measurement, and deliverables
- Training, equipping, and leading part-time Associates across multiple cities
- Planning and executing local programs, campaigns, and events to support customer acquisition initiatives
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create, optimize, and measure field marketing tactics
- Presenting field marketing strategies and plans to partner teams and senior leaders
- Communicating and engaging with local residents and businesses while developing and managing relationships with key decisions makers
- Identify and set up mechanisms for gathering market and customer data and insights to inform acquisition-marketing strategies
- Delivering detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, tactic effectiveness, and ROI, using data to make real-time adjustments and proactively identify trends and opportunities
Top Skills Required:- Experience executing events, campaigns, and programs that support marketing initiatives
- Experience and long history of relationship building- both in the field and agency relationship management
- Deep experience with prospecting and event activation
