One of the leading Medical Device companies is looking for an IT Business Relationship Manager to join their Digital Marketing team.
IT BRMs sit in between IT and the Business. They are resourceful and connect the dots to keep projects moving.
This person will be responsible for the coordination of the activities related to Information Technology (IT) with respect to the Commercial Excellence business including the definition, development, maintenance, and operation of systems, as well as for maintaining the area's technological level up to date, conducting studies and implementing new procedures and techniques.
Main Responsibilities:
• Partner with the US Commercial Excellence business and coordinate IT projects in helping achieve business goals.
• Plan, develop and direct the operation of information technology systems to meet the business objectives.
• Maintain current knowledge of systems and programming techniques to enable IT system delivery and support that are regulated.
• Set policies, procedures, technical standards, methods, and priorities of the IT projects in coordination with the Business priorities.
• Manage and recommend budgets for the functionality to meet the business needs with respect to the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
and interfaces.
• Control the security of information systems.
• Direct maintenance work and quality control to ensure the efficient and timely operation of the information technology function.
• Participate in the selection, development and training of information technology professionals and other staff and monitor their performance.
• Manage resources to enable timely delivery of IT projects, within Budget and in a quality manner.
Education and Experiences:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or another discipline relevant for the healthcare industry or equivalent experience
• 10 - 15 years of IT experience in large or mid-size pharmaceutical or medical device organization
• Have 5 years of experience with US Commercial Excellence systems with appropriate regulated processes like Sample Management, Marketing Content
Approval process etc.
• Familiar with AI based solutions that deliver Next Best Actions to the Field, Customer Journey (both HCP and Patient) etc
• Strong healthcare data background with respect to the HCP, Claims, HCO, Market Access etc.
• Strong knowledge of the DataLake related data management concepts and applications including analytical tools like Power BI, Tableau, and AI solutions like
Aktana
• Work effectively with all levels of management up to and including Division Directors and VPs
• Ability to collaborate with business leads, understand business strategy/processes, look for innovative solutions to drive business enhancements both for
internal business users and external customers
• Strong influence and negotiating skills
• Experience leading teams - both direct and indirect
• Proven leadership skills, self-directed with strong work ethic
• Successfully managed project portfolio within a given line of business or a location
• Proven experience and understanding of the complete software life cycle
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Veeva CRM; SFDC platform; Microsoft 365 and other cloud platforms like AWS, SharePoint etc.
• Familiar with Agile and Water-fall project management methodologies
• Ability to execute projects with minimal supervision
