Our client is looking to hire a IT Manager that will work onsite in Rockville 4 days week and one remote day. They have a relatively small IT department and need a hands-on Sr. Manager who can help guide the T2/T3 team, support M365 roadmap and execution, and help manage the various SaaS integrations utilized by the org. This person will serve as the right hand individual to the Director of Operations and will be asked to support his functions when they are out.
• Tier 2/3 troubleshooting of end-user equipment as well as backend Microsoft products (Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, MS Licensing, OneDrive, Office Suite)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ticket/queue management. Their primary function will be to ensure everyone is addressing/closing tickets in a timely manner. I also want someone that can learn the reporting side of ServiceNow and provide performance reports / dashboards as needed.
• Familiarity with scripting like PowerShell and Power Apps a huge plus
• Knowledge of SaaS application support from an SSO/MFA perspective. Knowledge of API integration for SaaS apps is helpful but not required
• Understanding network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, Wireless Access Points, with the ability to troubleshoot using CLI important. In addition, I would like someone that understands public domain registration and DNS records
• Holding 1:1 with Level 2 support staff and being able to coach/mentor
• Knowledge of regulated environment SOX/FDA CFR 21 Part 11
• Abreast of latest technologies and be able to participate in strategy planning meetings
• Understand/apply cyber security principles with an understanding of the NIST 800-53 framework
• Good communication skills. I'd like someone that is comfortable speaking to C-Level folks as we have a lot of them in Rockville. Being able to present at meeting is also important

This is a hybrid hands on / managerial role - the right person could come from a management or technical as long as they can perform a little of either function
