Description
We are seeking a network technician to support a VOIP modernization. This position will work onsite to assist the network engineer and project manager in updating telephony services.
Duties
- Navigate through the location and identify where VoIP phones should be located.
- Work hands on in migrating VOIP environments.
- Read schematics to connect network cabinets.
- Understand and be comfortable with Telephony acronyms as well as general networking terms.
- Ability to physically walk a large facility to install phone equipment on workstations.
- Review installation situations for potential roadblocks, and have a high safety awareness of surroundings.
- Pull cable through terminals to configure workstations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Past experience in the telephone environment is required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and have flexibility within the project requirements.
- The candidate will support a staff network engineer and assist as necessary to complete the project.
Start Date & Interviews
- Start Date August 5, or sooner
- 2-step interview
- Phone screen with Network Engineer and Project Manager
- In person, onsite final round interview

- Warehouse/Production
- Remote work will not be accepted for this position.
