Our client is looking for an experienced Transport Engineer to support their large build plans on their wireless team. While a technical background is important, this role is also heavy on coordination side. This would include creating assignments, building pathways, and coordinating with various internal and external teams through to completion.
This role specifically is a cross between the transport team and the equipment engineers.
This position requires a considerable amount of experience in transport engineering, significant project management experience, and strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills to develop a monthly interconnect implementation plan that supports macro, in-building, small cell, self-perform/third party, ODAS, 5G, etc. projects.
You will be responsible for a large quantity of projects where the best solutions must be evaluated and activities correlated between multiple engineers and/or workgroups.

- Experience with office computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets and Docs.
- Proficient with database management, project trackers, and logic.
- Executive level troubleshooting, problem solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply working knowledge of wireless engineering on new projects.
- Must be self-motivated, show initiative, and be able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Experience with engineering and engineering economic principles.
- Experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
- Capable of maintaining a high level of productivity in a dynamic environment and managing the workflow to keep multiple tasks and projects moving to completion
