Onsite medical collector for large hospital in the inland empire!
Description :
The Collector performs A / R collections and billing involving multiple insurance contracts & entities. Analyzes and audits accounts for correct balance, proper follow-up and complete reimbursement.
Monitors collection issues and resolves with payor. Processes phone, online and paper inquiries and correspondence taking appropriate collection actions that may include : working rejections / denials, calling for status, tracer claims and rebilling.
Identifies misapplied payments and requests payments, adjustments / transfers or refunds.
Required : HS Diploma, hospital collector experience requested
