Description
We are currently looking to hire a Desktop Support Technician in Waukegan, IL. The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing support for the IT warehouse and deployment activities. Preferred qualifications include experience in an IT/Technology related role (such as Service Desk, Desktop Support, Mobility, Hardware Fulfillment). The candidate will be responsible for handling tickets assigned through the ServiceNow ticket system. Their primary responsibilities will include fulfilling warehouse requests, checking and updating warehouse inventory, shipping hardware, updating SAP for received and deployed IT hardware, equipment recovery, and managing computer peripheral deployments. This will also involve tasks such as picking up computers and peripheral equipment from onsite locations, following-up with managers of offboarded employees, and processing incoming return equipment while adhering to data retention practices. Additionally, the candidate will handle tasks related to setting up computer peripherals and imaging computers.
