Description:

The Developer will provide technical expertise in the design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, integration, implementation, maintenance, and security of solutions, including the delivery and support of core IT applications and systems. The Developer documents technical requirements for databases, applications, and technology infrastructure, consults with team members and potentially community members to understand current operating procedures and business processes, to clarify program objectives, gather requirements, and test and debug applications. The Developer is part of a team that supports planning and implementation of new systems or functions and ensures that application maintenance and upgrades are delivered on-time and with quality. The Developer manages the lifecycle of new development, including reviewing requirements, designing architecture, and leads daily development efforts of the team.

• Works independently providing and leading technical support for non-production and production environments, including trouble shooting and remediation of technical issues.
• Answers end user requests and serves as a final escalation point on complex issues and provides on call support after hours as defined by the application support requirements.
• Works with, and sometimes leads, users or functional / business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical or systems specifications to solve business problems, including program and logic flows, file/data base design, etc.
• Participates in design sessions to develop complex technical enhancements for conversions, integrations, applications, systems or functional services fulfilling user requirements and goals.
• Completes assigned application / integration development or configuration deliverables, and leads teams in the completion of their assigned deliverables, including the design, development, testing and implementation of applications, integrations, enhancements and other customizations.
• Develops technical documentation to be used by technical development or support teams.
• Works closely with, and leads, users, functional / business analysts and technical testers to prepare test plans, test data and complete integrated testing.
