Field service technician
Job Posting for Field service technician at TEKsystems
There's currently a short term overnight project up in Gilbert, MN. This will consist of installing and troubleshooting workstations, dual monitors, mice, keyboards, cameras, etc.
This project will be (4 / 22 / 2024 - 4 / 25 / 2024) on an overnight shift of 6pm - 2am. Someone with IT education or personal / professional experience would be qualified.
Description :
- Setting up hoteling desk with dual monitors, mice, keyboards and camera etc..
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Track Hardware installed and any issues through to resolution
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Testing to ensure Monitors are fully functional
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Windows / Linux / Mac OS environments
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bending / Lifting / Standing for up to 8 hours
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
