Experiencing ticket backlog due to the heavy focus they have put on WIN10 so they have requested resources to join their team to help with the excess of tickets.
Day-to-Day responsibilities:
- Hardware swaps/issues
- Troubleshoot
- Printer troubleshooting
- Office 365
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Active Directory (adding users to groups)
- Add PCs to the domain
- Basic networking
- A , Net , Microsoft Certs highly preferred
Position Title: End User Support Analyst
General Summary: Facilitates the deployment and support of end user technology (e.g., desktops, phones, networking, remote access) including but not limited to troubleshooting, repair, replacements, moves add changes, and follows IT Standards for System Maintenance and Operations.
Essential Duties:
1. System Maintenance and Operations Monitors, System Testing, Auditing, Troubleshooting, Repairing, Documenting, Support Documentation, End User Interaction, Vendor Interaction. Change Management. Quality assurance. Takes guidance from levels II and III. Follows IT Standards for System Maintenance and Operations). Provides input on improvement to IT Standards for System Maintenance and Operations.
2. Solution Implementation Implements planned solution under the management of the project plan, leveraging their skills. Applies skills to tasks in the project plan.
3. Strategic Planning and Solution Design Application/Infrastructure/Business Integration, Technology Research, Technology Trends, On Going Education, Best Practices. Requirements definition, technology selection, support requirements Contributes.
4. Mentoring and Communication Works as part of a team, resource to other Information Technology staff for their area of expertise. Good communications both written and verbal. Can assist peers in problem resolution and operational improvement
5. Project Management Activities Planning, Tracking, Resource Management (e.g., time, people, $), milestones, status, communications to stakeholders. Contributes.
Standard Qualifications
HS Diploma, or equivalent
2 years as desktop technician
Preferred industry standard certifications (e.g., MCDST, A , etc.)
Proficient with tools of the art (e.g., desktop operating and desktop management tools, desktop hardware, phone systems, etc.)
