Description
This position supports the customer's Operational Technology information security
program to ensure the company’s information assets are adequately protected.
This role is responsible for replacing Operational Technology on 47 different
sites scattered through Georgia(GA)/Alabama(AL). The position(s) is open due to
a Hardware Lifecycle Refresh and will be responsible for uninstalling
old/at-risk equipment and replacing it with pre-configured and pre-built equipment.
In this case, firewall switches, network attachments and storage are the three
primary components that make up the life cycle. To reiterate, the firewalls are
already configured and built, the role is to put the new switches in, put
cables back where they were, etc. and ensuring equipment is working correctly.
This is a project where the individual will leave on Monday
and come back on Friday. That will happen for two weeks, then there will
be a week onsite doing paperwork, expense statements and equipment cleanup.
Then the cycle starts over.
The individual(s) will need to be able to pass the
background check and have a valid drivers license. They will need to lift
equipment that’s probably 25lbs max.
- Travel (rental car/mileage/gas), lodging, meals, etc. are expensed.
Duration: 6 months, mid-April through
mid-September.

cleanup. Will start at Energy Center in Birmingham to pick up equipment, and
end in Birmingham to drop decommissioned equipment off.
