Remote Healthcare Program Specialist
Fully remote with equipment provided!! Opportunity to help patients access needed care!
Details :
Hours Monday-Friday only; will work an assigned set 8 hour shift betweenbetween 8 : 00AM-10 : 00 PM
Paid Training : Approximately weeks
A day in the role
- Quickly and efficiently respond to incoming calls and faxes, identify how best to assist.
- Conduct insurance verifications to understand if patient’s prescribed therapy is eligible for coverage.
- Possibly coordinate prior authorizations, investigate alternative insurance coverage, or other funding sources on behalf of the patients per the program specifications.
Necessary Skills and Strengths :
Health Plan Knowledge Call Center Medical Terminology
Core Experience :
- 2 years of medical experience
- Prior call center experience
- Health insurance experience
