What are the responsibilities and job description for the Implementation Technician position at TEKsystems?
Description:
Our team is looking to add a travelling implementation tech. Continuum is an automated inventory control and charge capture business solution for their clients – healthcare providers. This person will be responsible for building, staging, and installing technology on client sites. Techs will travel up to 60% of the time, during the workweek (with the rare fly out on Sunday night). Travel is planned in advance.
This person will travel across the country and expense $1000 on an average week for mileage, lodging, $40/day meal allowance, gas, and more. This will be out of pocket and reimbursed by TEKsystems within 3 weeks when submitted correctly. Company will book flights, and techs will drive if it is within a few hours. Either rental car or their own car if they prefer, reimbursed either way. Candidates will need to have the credit limit to support this. The plus side is building up card and hotel points quickly!
Techs will coordinate with PMs, sales, and the client and are the face of our company at client sites (hospitals, clinics, etc) so customer service and ability to solve problems independently without constant oversight are important. They will travel with a partner while training, and solo when ready.

***Pay range is between $35k-42k, with overtime pay estimated to be an additional $10k-13k per year. Techs will train for the first 3 months or so, then travel most weeks with 10-15hrs/week of overtime during those weeks.
