Description:
Our customer is looking for a Project Manager to assist in additional changes to a 3rd party service being used. Phase 2 of this project will focus more heavily on customization and data project experience is required to support this initiative. Our customer is in search of a Proje ct Manager to assist with these work streams and the change management process of rolling everything out to the new users.
This person will work closely with other team members to create comprehensive action plans and timeframes for projects and supports the activities of the internal team to meet the project goals.
• Develop project ideas into standard deliverable products ready for the stage gate process
• Create clear and attainable project objectives in consultation with stakeholders, sponsors, subject matter experts (SME's), and the Program Manager
• Collect and document project requirements and schedules
• Identify, communicate, and manage risk associated with the project
• Facilitate development of required stage deliverables
• Ensure that all milestone and key deliverables within a stage have been reviewed and accepted by stakeholders
• Complete financial approval documents (Cost estimates, requisitions, requests for funding)
• Monitor and manage project performance - cost, schedule, scope, and quality
• Manage change requests through the Project Change requests
• Communicate project performance and changes with stakeholders
• Manage and communicate with Project Team
• Perform change management activities for the project as required to ensure the successful creation, implementation, and attainment of the business value of the deliverable
• Ensure the deliverables for each stage are completed and ready for submission for approval
• Ensure that all funding request documents are complete and ready for submission for approval
• Ensure change order requests are adequately documented prior to approval requests
What you will bring:
• 4-6 years of experience managing projects or major maintenance projects
• PMP or other formal Project Management training would be considered an asset
• Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders - internal and external
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Highly motivated
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office software, Data Projects, ServiceNow, ERP systems, Data warehouses, and fleet systems are all considered assets
• Experience with project coordination, fleet management, supervision, quality assurance/control, and procurement are all considered assets
