What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Support Technician position at TEKsystems?
One of our larger clients in Hopkins, MN is looking to hire a Site Support Technician to their team for a contract position.
Support in a Microsoft operating systems network and office productivity suite. Must be able to support an enterprise desktop environment.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain all technology components in a distribution facility - desktops/laptops, printers and software applications
- Schedules and performs PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- Troubleshoots and acts as second level support for the enterprise printing environment which is crucial to our operations
- Provide second level support for all end-user problems and act as an escalate point to the team as necessary
- Act as point of contact for vendor and IT installations at the site
- Assist in instructing users in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment
- Resolves hardware and software user issues on company devices
- Document the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment
- Participate in recommending standards for PC hardware and peripheral equipment
- Ensures user satisfaction is maintained
- Escalates technical issues to senior members of the team
Hours are Monday - Friday day shift. Will be on site each day.
This is going to be a 6 month project.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
