What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at TEKsystems?
Description:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable with 6 years or more of software development experience.
Java (8 or above)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
Understanding of basic networking concepts
Experience with Git / GitHub
Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Familiarity with security best practices for software development
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of testing
Quickly adapt and learn monolithic systems
Strong understand of developing APIs with Spring and Spring Boot
Collaborate with external technology partners
Experience with:
Hashicorp Terraform Enterprise
Spring Framework
Spring Boot
DB2
Relational Database
