What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unix Administrator position at TEKsystems?
TEKsystems is searching for an experience Unix Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in San Diego, CA. This role requires a hybrid on-site schedule in San Diego.
Required Skills:

4 years of MacOS, iOS, or UNIX development experience

4 years of UNIX administration and strong software debugging skills

Knowledge of operating system, network, and compiler concepts
Job Responsibilities include:

Working cross functionally with teams across the organization to ship new features or products

Collaborating with development teams to configure project code bases
-
Troubleshooting and resolving complex software integration issues
-
Filing actionable bugs and resolving bugs efficiently
Willingness to learn and master these areas:
-
Familiarity with version control systems such as git or subversion
-
Proficiency with advanced text editors
-
Comfortable reading backtraces and stack trace
Experience Level: Intermediate Level
