Job Title: Aggregate Manager
Job Type: Full-time direct hire
Job Location: Topsham, ME (Onsite)

- The selected individual will lead and supervise the crushing/screening employees in the Topsham yard as well as oversee the employees based at the other pits and quarries.
- In addition to regular monitoring and scheduling necessary repairs of the crushing systems, the selected individual will also lead the coordination and management of a planned winter maintenance program.
- This will include regular communication with the weld shop and maintenance shop.
- The role will collaborate very closely with the Company’s quality control and hot top plant groups to ensure produced material meets the necessary specifications and production quantities and qualities are met for producing hot mix asphalt.
- The selected individual must have a strong working knowledge and understanding of Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) as well as the blasting process to be able to plan and work with an outside blasting company for weekly blasts at one of our quarries.
- The right candidate must be focused on being safe, have a strong work ethic, and be eager to learn in order to produce a high-quality finished product.
- Previous experience supervising employees and working at a crushing/screening facility is required.
Requirements:
· Experience supervising employees
· Excellent organizational and planning skills
· Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills
· Experience working with aggregates or at a crushing and screening facility
· Knowledge of aggregate materials and crushing/screening methods is necessary
· Working knowledge of material gradations
· Must be able to lead a team to stay on task to meet deadlines
· Must have a working knowledge of Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and Maine DEP regulations for pits and quarries
· Must enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to assist other crew members
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar software programs
· Must be willing to work the necessary schedule which may include long hours, nights, and/or weekends
· Must have a valid driver’s license. CDL license is a plus

Pay: $59,169.20 - $71,257.53 per year
