Industrial Estimator

The Quoting/Estimator is responsible for supporting the Inside and Outside Sales team with quotes, CRM data, and reporting.

Must have experience estimating CNC OR Lathe OR Milling machines

Essential Functions:

• Analysis of information, data, or opportunities to make the best decision in how to strategically quote for purposes of positioning winning the business
• Review customer specifications to ensure the quote is technically compatible and competitive
• Match supplier capabilities to customer specifications by demonstrating knowledge of material commodities
• Maintain a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions
• Review plans and specifications, generate proposals, and handle customer inquiries
• Regular follow-up with customers and sales reps to build relationships and ensure proposals, deliverables, and other communications meet customer’s needs
• Aid in solving customer complaints and/or inquiries
• Interact with various departments as needed to support sales and complete tasks
• At times, perform as the account lead where no salesperson is assigned or the customer’s needs warrant direct service
• Attend various market-specific trade shows; interact with customers; and build relationships
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
• Maintain accurate documentation/paperwork and files
• Incorporate the use of technological capabilities to improve processes and efficiency
• Interface with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction
• Other special projects as assigned by the President/Sales Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $87,876.00 - $95,692.00 per year
