Job Description:

As a Field Service Technician, you would help install, maintain, repair, and train customers on customized automatic and robotic client equipment used worldwide.
The client is a local manufacturer of precision packaging, inspection, and bond testing equipment for electronics, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, and medical manufacturing.
Our Engineering Department designs and programs an assortment of machines from manual tape and reel machines to advanced automatic and robotic solutions to help manufacturers all over the world meet the needs of customers and consumers in a wide variety of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, rework, and calibrate servo-mechanical and electromechanical equipment
Conduct final quality control inspections and validation of equipment
Travel to customer and distributor sites to install or repair equipment and train customers in use and operation
Participate and assist in new product development processes
Maintain and repair equipment used by clients for other services
Education and Experience:
Two-Year Technical Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or similar fields. Four years of equivalent experience in service and/or repair of electromechanical equipment can be substituted.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics as well as mechanical assembly drawings
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time domestically and internationally
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively understand and communicate professionally across various mediums (email, phone, in-person)
Valid Driver License in good standing
Passport or ability to get a passport for travel is required.
All candidates who have received a written offer of employment will be required to undergo a company-paid drug test.
Failure to submit to this test and/or to successfully test negative will result in withdrawal of the applicant's job offer.
