.NET Full Stack Developer

Hybrid onsite 2 or 3 days a week for collaboration

The Chevron Subsurface Platform Digital Oifield product team is looking for a senior full stack developer. the technical requirements are as follows.

• 5-7 years’ experience
• ANGULAR JAVASCRIPT Node.js DevOps Testing Integration / Api’s Object OD design principals
• Advanced in .NET Frameworks, C#, WPF, Visual Studio.NET, ADO, SQL Server, Azure
• In-depth knowledge of Software Engineering, Design, Development, Implementation & Testing
• Familiarity with Chevron's systems of record, databases and technical software development best practices is preferred, but not essential.
• Experience writing Stored Procedures, Triggers & Views, Query Optimization
• Create, maintain, and debug product solutions, source code, installers, and unit tests.
• Experience working with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• In person attendance in the office is required 2/3 days a week for collaboration

Summary:

• The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work.
• A typical software engineer research, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Modify existing databases and database management systems.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

 Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.

 Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required. required.
