Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the monthly accruals and forecasts.
- Support explaining any variances on monthly inbound financials.
- Participate/Lead Finance improvement projects.
- Participate in LSP financial calls.
- Participate in the Global Costs out project.
- Work with EBSC team and ensure invoices are paid timely and support resolution of disputed charges.
- Responsible for partnering and developing with LSP, collaborating to enable strategies to enable free cash flow, cost outs from logistics, and reducing inventories.
- Oversee and participate with LSP on improvement projects using the LEAN principles guiding business performance.
- Coordinate claims with LSPs.
- Create and maintain Appendix Q's
- Support creating End-to-End visibility and report out to Client' stake holders.
- Provide forecasts to LSP for each plant.
- Ensure KPI's are met and support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective actions, where applicable.
- Support development of Work Instructions on Logistics, Distribution, and Logistics Finance.
- Know and understand transportation SAP processes.
- Monitor inbound freight performance of critical supply items.
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries / with high focus on working with & understanding different cultures.
- Ad Hoc as determined.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field or a combination of related experience and education.
- Minimum 4 years working in Global Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Working knowledge of global, multi-modal freight and logistics solutions.
- Detailed and in-depth background of MRP and Enterprise Systems - preferably SAP.
- Ability to work with people, to develop by influence and by motivating and empowering.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and accept new ideas and changing initiatives.
- Finance experience related to Logistics and Distribution.
- APICS certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both written and orally.
- Ability to effectively participate in a cross-functional teams.
- Ability to self-monitor as well as coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of TMS Systems (ITM) preferred.
