Job Description:
The Financial Analyst plays a key role on the Retail Operations Finance team by auditing low pro-rata share invoices, assisting with mail processing and keying landlord invoices.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking capabilities and good communication skills. The candidate also is enthusiastic and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/maintain effective relationships with landlords
- Interpret lease language and audit landlord invoices to ensure lease compliance
- Complete landlord account reconciliations
- Manage accounts with external utility providers and with previously owned brands
- Maintains invoice audit upload templates and troubleshoots as necessary
- Assist with mail processing 1x per week
- Timely key invoices and default notices into appropriate team logs
Qualifications:
- Develop a clear understanding of lease processes and business issues
- Establish relationships with landlords to facilitate productive lease account audits
- Clearly communicate points of view in a concise manner
- Reconcile data and analyze variances
- Demonstrate absolute adherence to data integrity and internal controls
- Navigate financial systems
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Enthusiastic, high energy, self-motivated
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 1-2 years experience in a finance/accounting environment
- Basic to Intermediate skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
