What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Warehouse position at TekwissenGroup?
Job Description: This project-based role will assist with the scanning and proper identification of our locomotive maintenance inventory as part of a technology upgrade initiative currently underway. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Find and scan items listed on inventory sheets and stored in our warehouse
- Confirm accuracy of scanned items in inventory system
- Place RFD or other tags and labels on items, as directed
- Appropriately re-organize items after proper identification, as directed
- May help with daily tasks of retrieving inventory items for customers, such as but not limited to:
- Store tools and parts received in proper bin location by use proper labeling
- Use proper equipment to load, unload and move pallets
- Clean warehouse and keep isles free from clutter and debris
- Complete all other duties as assigne
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work in warehouse/shop environment, with previous experience in such environments strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based inventory systems.
- Experience with Oracle preferred
- A high level of attention to detail
- Experience, willingness, and ability to work in shop environment and to work various shifts on various days as required, including having a flexible work schedule to perform auditing and training on various shifts.
- The ability to maintain reliable and predictable attendance
- A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
