The Opportunity
Teladoc Health – The Leader in the telehealth industry is currently seeking a Director, TPA & Reseller Sales. This position will require direct sales to TPAs and Reseller clients and prospects. This person will be building long-term relationships with Teladoc clients and will be responsible for the ongoing development and management of a sizeable block of business.
Responsibilities
- Direct sales into a collective of 25 – 30 existing relationships focused on growing the block of business, ongoing sales training, and management of pipeline, onboarding and activity in our Salesforce database.
- This position will work from home, and extensive travel (approximately two weeks a month) will be required, company policy allowing.
- This is a quota bearing role and responsible for using sales and technical skills to nurture and grow existing clients, source new business, and present Teladoc programs and services
- Manage the on-going interaction and communications required to close the account.
- Role will also require activity management, training.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in the employee benefits field with a full knowledge of ASO/self-funded benefit programs required
- Sales to or within a TPA required
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong and ethical performance
- Coachable with a competitive spirit
- Excellent time-management and phone / video presentation skills
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with Salesforce required
- Experience in the Health Care industry; may include working in health insurance and/or directly for a health plan
- Stable and successful sales career (proven sales track record)
- 4-year college degree preferred
