What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Administrator position at Telaid Industries Inc?
The Accounts Receivable Specialist performs daily submission of AR invoicing to clients, maintains client files as well as other accounting duties as assigned by the company Collections Representative, Comptroller and CFO. Superior customer service skills are required, as this position will interface will all departments and employees as well as outside clients.
Accounts Receivable Duties
o Set up new customers
o Create Invoices using Acumatica accounting software.
o Maintain sales tax certificates.
o Audit PM’s Pre-Invoices
o Audit Invoices for errors & omissions prior to Client
o Submitting invoicing to clients per their requested format (email, portal, spreadsheet)
o Receiving and distributing Purchase Orders received from clients to internal personnel
o Providing support to internal personnel on invoice submission questions
o Communicating with clients and actioning on information requests
o Support the Collections Representative with AR Aging questions
o Assist in looking for ways to Automate AR invoice submissions for efficiency
Organizational Relationship
The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Controller. The Controller reports to the CFO of Telaid Industries, located in Niantic, Connecticut.
- 3-5 years accounting software / data-entry experience (required).
o Excellent computer and keyboarding skills
o Ability to independently develop Excel spreadsheets and produce ad-hoc reports as necessary.
o Experience with accounting software (Acumatica a plus).
o Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
