What You Will Do to Change Lives
The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served that assist the members to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. Peer Recovery Coaches provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member’s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
Shifts Available:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Expected starting wage range is $17.85-$21.51 - Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

iCare Mobile Engagement Teams (MET) provides intensive outreach and mobile mental health services to 50 adult individuals with serious mental illness who may be experiencing homelessness and have not engaged in services. Mobile teams provide outreach, build rapport, develop trust and engage individuals in services including assessment, intensive case management, crisis intervention, housing, medication support, referrals and linkage throughout Sutter and Yuba counties. Teams shall "meet clients where they are” and be responsive and flexible in service delivery and shall utilize various engagement tools such as clothing, food, shoes, blankets, bus passes, hygiene kits, etc. and address barriers to engagement such as transportation, pet care and property storage.
