What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk and Safety Manager position at Teleios VII, LLC.?

Summary: Develop and administer risk management and loss prevention programs in compliance with OSHA standards.

  • Responsible for overseeing and enforcing all safety measures to minimize and/or eradicate safety hazards in the workplace.
  • Conducts safety site inspections of client sites and makes recommendations to Lyneer management to ensure employee safety
  • Outlines and implements safety-related training with staff employees to ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements
  • Conducts accident investigations to determine root cause and reports back to Lyneer management with any recommendations/corrective actions
  • Stays current on state and federal workplace safety regulations
  • Responds to emergencies and accidents Audits documentation at company locations
  • Participates in meetings with OSHA related matters
  • Assist corporate risk administration with Monitoring of employees on modified duty and partners with corporate risk administration, the branches, medical providers, and PEO to obtain a release to full duty
  • Assists corporate risk administration with required claim activity as requested by corporate risk administration
  • Work with the risk team to streamline procedures and establish and monitor standard operating procedures for risk management
  • Other duties that arise and are assigned by management

Years of Experience

  • 3 or more years, the staffing industry preferred Risk / Safety Manager

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable work-related experience

License, Certificate, Or Registration

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour training for General Industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
