The job of Director of School Partnerships and Provider Management is done for the purpose/s of providing support and assistance to our school partners and team of special education and related service providers; sharing information and serving as a resource to others; coordinating onboarding for providers and schools; maintaining compliance with state and federal mandates in regards to special education. 

Before applying, make sure you have and are able to:

  • A current state and/or department of education license(s)/certification(s) as a Special Education Teacher or Related Service Provider (OT, PT, SLP, etc.) in at least the state in which you reside
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Missouri special education rules and regulations (preferred but not required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required; Master’s Degree in related field (preferred but not required)
  • Full-time availability beginning June 1, 2021 (this will be a 12-month position)
  • At least 3 years experience in a school-based setting
  • We prefer 1+ year experience in a leadership role
  • We prefer 1+ years experience providing online teaching or related services (if not, we need you to be tech-savvy and hungry to learn!)
  • Demonstrate knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include pertinent laws, codes, policies, and/or regulations; personnel processes; standard business practices; supervising a team of school-based providers; working with district leadership; and stages of child development.
  • Facilitate meetings, processes, etc. (e.g. IEP meetings as needed, training/practice development/implementation etc.) for the purpose of implementing and maintaining programs and services which achieve our district partners’ desired outcomes.
  • Research a variety of topics (e.g. current practices, policies, education codes, state and federal legal requirements governing special education, etc.) for the purpose of providing information and/or recommendations and/or addressing a variety of program requirements.
  • Serve as a resource and/or mentor to TeleTeachers staff for the purpose of explaining procedures conveying and/or receiving information as needed for the planning, developing and evaluating of services.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders for the purpose of ensuring compliance to state and federal guidelines in regards to assessment, evaluation, and IEPs.
  • Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
  • Schedule a number of activities, meetings, and/or events; gather, collate, analyze, and/or classify data; to ensure the effective and efficient operation of programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
  • Work with a diverse group of individuals under a wide variety of circumstances.
  • Analyze issues, data, create action plans, and ensure the success of Department and District strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply critical thinking/problem solving to improve work processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality; set priorities; meet deadlines and schedules; work with detailed information; and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Set high expectations for self and others; set and monitor progress toward goals, and utilize and offer effective feedback to continuously improve.
  • Work as part of a team; adapt to changing priorities; and apply logical processes and analytical skills.
