Job Description:
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Biochemistry, Biology, Medical Technology, Chemistry or related field with 2-5 yrs lab experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) or Masters Degree.
- Solid use of protein analysis equipment for SDS-PAGE Gels, Western Blots (manual and automated) and other protein assays.
- Solid documentation skills.
- Able to present findings to larger groups.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks utilizing standard procedures and technical understanding of various techniques to complete assigned tasks
- Develop protocols for more complex tests or experiments performed with less defined assays and parameters
- Apply basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument related systems
- Presents conclusions of defined experiments
- Ensures safety requirements are met when performing tasks
- Ensures timely compliant delivery of high quality precise data
Ideal Skill set:
- SDS-PAGE
- Western Blot (ideally can develop assays)
- Protein Analysis (plate-reader)
- Biochemical assays
- Protein chromatography (ion exchange, etc, desired, not required)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $32.59 - $32.60 per hour
