Tellworks Logistics is a rapidly growing logistics company known for its entrepreneurial spirit and agility. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to wield substantial influence in the success and growth of our organization.


Job Responsibilities and Key Characteristics:

  • Expertise collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
  • Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting in the improvement and create new measures for site productivity
  • Demonstrated analytical experience delivering forecasting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
  • Manage the development of all weekly and monthly reporting, all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation and communicating to your internal customers
  • Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, and assisting in the improvement and create new measures for site productivity
  • Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is proven
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders, and experience preparing materials for an executive audience
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution, including the ability to deliver on tight timelines
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify trends to optimize inventory management
  • Analyze inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports and dashboards
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Manage inventory replenishment, slotting and allocation
  • Assist with inventory forecasting and planning
  • Provide recommendations to improve inventory processes and procedures

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in inventory management or related field
  • Previous experience with distribution center, fulfillment operations or logistics processes is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks


Physical Demands:

  • The Inventory Analyst may be required to sit, stand, or move about the warehouse for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds


Work Environment:

  • Onsite attendance 5 days/week is expected (no remote/hybrid).
  • May require less than 10% travel to meet with clients, vendors, or internal stakeholders at various company locations (travel expenses reimbursed).
  • Interaction with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • May require additional or irregular hours to support company priorities and objectives.
  • Primary work location in a warehouse environment with exposure to hazards; adherence to all safety policies required.
  • This position will work in both an office and operations on the floor environment
