Construction Worker

Telos Property Investments is a faith and discipleship driven real estate investment company. What we do is buy and sell single and multi-family properties. Why we do it is to bring people together to pursue their telos. We are looking for somebody who walks the walk of faith and somebody who wants to advance and succeed as much as they want to breathe.

A famous architect was commissioned to build a magnificent church in the mid 17th century. While building the structure, he came upon three bricklayers and asked them a simple question.

“What are you doing”

The first replied, "I am laying bricks to feed my family."

The second looked up and said, "I am building an important wall of the church."

The third stood tall with vigor in his stance and said, "I am building a cathedral in which people will come from all around to worship the almighty God."

The first two bricklayers are performing a task that is commendable. Respectable. Yet they fail to see the connection to the bigger picture. It is the third bricklayer that has purpose beyond himself in the task that is before him.

Truth be told, Indeed’s available job descriptions don’t really give you an idea of what we are looking for. A more accurate understanding is that we are not looking to hire somebody for a job or a career even. TPI is looking for a person who is ready to respond to a calling. We are looking for the third brick layer in the parable above. This person will primarily work on-site with a small team to carry out renovation projects.

We are looking for a person who has construction experience. They must be competent in many construction related skillsets. You must work both hard and smart. Display an enormous amount of grit and perseverance. They must perform tasks with a high degree of proficiency & quality. We are looking for somebody who rejects excuses of themselves, always shows up ready to give their best, and most importantly is a disciple maker.

Compensation

Salary will be between $30,000 - $50,000 Benefits.
