What are the responsibilities and job description for the CSR/Dispatcher position at Temco Logistics?
We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative to join our San Diego team! A customer service representative/ Router, will provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative.
MONDAY-WED, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 10:30am-7:00pm
THURSDAY AND SUNDAY OFF
Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening driving routes daily.
- Monitoring drivers and their routes.
- Complete paperwork daily.
- Ability to use routing software.
- Ability to route 300 plus stops per day.
- Schedule and confirm delivery teams daily.
- Prepare paperwork for next day routes.
- Proficient with mapping locations and giving directions.
- Read route sheets thoroughly with the ability to plan trips to save time and fuel.
- Communicate with dispatch and contact customers when required.
- Communicate with Drivers to assess their route schedules and timing of deliveries.
- Ability to professionally communicate with internal staff, external customers, and vendors.
Route Driver Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.
- A willingness to work overtime when required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be willing and able to learn new software.
- Individual must be organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be a problem solver.
- Must have a good attitude.
- Must be punctual to all shifts.
- Must be comfortable working holidays, including Saturdays.
