What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Manager position at Temco Logistics?
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our driver and installation team. A successful Driver Manager will be a strong leader with excellent communication and coaching skills and have a background in appliance installation and/or logistics. Must have experience with installing home appliances and leading driver teams.
Job Duties:
- Supervise daily operations of delivery teams
- Approve routes
- Create driver schedules
- Handle escalated customer concerns
- Work with dispatch to improve customer service
- Ensure team meets goals and metrics
- Create and execute action plans when goals and metrics are not met
- Coordinate with builders and construction sites for future deliveries
- Oversee morning load out
- Develop and coach team
- Provide regular feedback and evaluations
- Document and provide disciplines when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Background in appliance installation and/or logistics preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Valid driver license with insurable driving record
- Ability to pass background screening
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to de-escalate customer concerns
