TempExperts is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing St. Petersburg team!
This position will be responsible for assisting in building a variety of quality subassemblies using a variety of methods. This position will fit parts to close tolerances and operating requirements using many different procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up production machinery to cut flexible shafts.
- Use small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts.
- Inspect products using micrometer and calipers.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Engineering or related field or 2 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours per day.
- Ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands.
- Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
