CNC Operator

TempExperts is seeking a CNC Operator, preferably with Haas Mill experience, for a thriving manufacturing company in Largo, FL!

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in the use of measuring equipment.
  • Coach and lead mill operators on proper machine shop practices.
  • Ability to build new tooling and fixtures, without supervision.
  • Able to detect any issues in machines and make minor adjustments when necessary.
  • Edit CNC machine manually at the controller.
  • A strong understanding of Numerical Control (G-Codes).
  • Must be willing to run production as well as doing setups.
  • Possess working knowledge of cutting tools including speeds and feed.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of set up experience on vertical CNC mills with 4th axis rotation capability, preferably Haas mills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.
  • AS 9100 awareness and adherence.
  • Must be quality-minded, strong attention to detail and follow quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
