Office Assistant
Fort Fairfield, ME – FT/Days – Temporary Opportunity

Job Description:

Temporary opening for an Office Assistant in Fort Fairfield. This position offers an excellent daytime schedule and competitive pay. Temporary assignment expected to last approximately two months. Full-Time/Days; 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday; $16.00 - $19.00/hr., depending on experience.

The Office Assistant will carry out a variety of clerical duties for the facility and assist other staff members as needed. Employee will answer incoming calls and emails, schedule appointments, relay messages, collect and organize client information, file paperwork, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Greet visitors and answer questions from clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and relay accurate messages to clients and staff.
  • Copy, scan, and file paper and electronic documents.
  • Receive, organize, and update files in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute mail and other shipments.
  • Run errands and deliver materials as needed.

Job Requirements:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Two or more years of experience in administrative role strongly preferred.

Schedule: Full-Time/Days; 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00/hr., depending on experience.
