Community based behavioral health agency seeks Youth Worker Tuesday to Thursday Summer Program 10:00am-3:00PM and 3:30pm-8pm during school year.

Position requires oversight of after school and evening youth program, which includes mentoring, physical and recreational activities, homework help and identification of need for referrals for additional services within or outside of the Agency.

Position requires regular contact with youths’ parent(s)/guardian(s).

Position will be responsible for data recording and management of statistical information related to population served.

Position will work with agency administration to develop and implement additional services to better serve and support programs’ youth.

Position reports directly to the Executive Director.

-Minimum master’s degree in social work or related field preferred - Exceptional applicant, bachelor’s degree in social work or related field will be considered.

-At least one year of experience working with youth in an educational, recreational or clinical setting.

-Spanish- speaking preferred.

-Basic computer knowledge required

Youth workers will work with youth aged 8-19, encouraging them, providing them with support and helping them to achieve their potential. The primary focus is on the positive personal, social, and educational development of the youth.
